TRAINING

In-School Training

Prideshill is available to assist schools with their in-service training of teachers. Much of its experience to date has been in work with teachers of English. Topic areas include planning, resourcing, teaching techniques and assessment. Prideshill is specifically expert in the teaching of speaking and listening.

More general in-school training can also be provided in topics like Assessment, Planning, Student Behaviour and Curriculum Reform. (see the Professional Development pages of this website).

TESOL

Through its links with university and private English language training centres, Prideshill has assisted hundreds of teachers to upgrade their skills in teaching English as a Second Language. Specially designed TESOL courses with highly qualified trainers can be conducted either in Australia in a more intensive environment or in Asia at times suited to the local education system. TESOL programs can be targeted from the Beginning teachers to the much more Advanced, with corresponding certification provided.
